The Tivoli 2800 Chair was created by Michele Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo for the Italian label Pedrali.
Since its launch in 1963, Pedrali has successfully blended modern and traditional furniture-making techniques with the best of contemporary design. Together, this blend creates aesthetically pleasing pieces for the home and public spaces. Michele Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo all have backgrounds in industrial design and are the founding members of the Collectivo design network. Among their many prizes is the prestigious German Design Award.
With the Tivoli 2800 Chair, this design-trio has taken a traditional wooden seat and given it clean modern lines while retaining its comfort. Its curves are three dimensional, while its generously proportioned backrest makes it both ergonomic and elegant. The chair is crafted with an ash wood frame, a plywood seat and back and is available in different finishes. The overall dimensions of the Tivoli 2800 Chair are 48 x 78 x 54 cm while its seat height is a comfortable 46cm. This design looks just at home in dining rooms as it does in kitchens.
