Product description

The Fluid Suspension Lamp is a joint production of Mârten Claesson, Ola Rune and Eero Koivisto from the prestigious Scandinavian label Muuto. Inspired by the way water droplets compress when they come into contact with a surface, the lamp has a wonderfully natural look, and will be the ideal accompaniment to designer table and chair sets in a contemporary living room.

Claesson, Rune and Koivisto are a Stockholm-based trio who devote their time equally to architecture and design. Their lighting products are informed by how they will harmonise with actual interiors, instead of as objects in themselves, which makes them doubly practical. In this case, the designers have used matt glass to create a large lamp bulb that diffuses light gently and broadly. It will be just as effective at illuminating office workstations as dining or coffee tables.

The Fluid Suspension Lamp comes in two sizes, with 40 cm and 23 cm diameter models. Each of them comes with a 350 cm-long cable and is designed to be used with a 60W E27 energy-saving lightbulb. They can be hung at varying heights wherever you need them, and will make a beautiful focal point for your home's living spaces.
