The Container New Antiques Stool was designed by Marcel Wanders for Moooi.

The Dutch design house and manufacturer Moooi creates exclusive, playful and timeless products for the modern home. In just 16 years since inception, the manufacturer has become a global name, with showrooms in New York, Tokyo and London. Co-founder and current artistic director Marcel Wanders created many of the company's flagship products himself, including this unique Container New Antiques Stool.

Drawing on the roundness and intricate edge designs of the Classical Era, this stool is reminiscent of both a Greek column and a playful chess piece. The wooden and polyethylene construction makes it light, durable and easy to clean. The stool measures 44cm in height and has a flat round seat with a diameter of 40cm.

The Container New Antiques Stool adds a refreshing addition of vintage charm to any setting and is ideal for both domestic as well as commercial use such as a cafe or gallery.
