The Harbour Side Chair with Oak Base was designed by Norm Architects for the brand Menu.
Menu was launched in Denmark in 1979. Since then it has gained wide recognition for its design pieces that are typically Scandinavian in their minimalist elegance. The label aims to create pieces that connect with their environment, whether that is domestic or public. Kasper Rønn and Jonas Bierre-Poulsen founded Norm Architects in 2008. Their work is always functional, luxurious and aesthetically timeless. Among the studio's prizes are Red Dot Design and iF Design awards.
The Harbour Side Chair with Oak Base is part of the label's Harbour range of seating. It is designed with a sleek and compact shell that fits into small spaces and neatly under tables. The shell's sculpted ergonomic shape is pleasing to look at and moulds to the body for comfortable use. The chair has an attractive and stable frame made of oak while the shell is available in either a choice of lacquered colours or luxurious velvet. The dimensions of the Harbour Side Chair with Oak Base are 58.5 x 81 x 55.7 cm. The seat height is 45cm.
