VL Studio 250 Table/ Floor Lamp

The VL Studio 250 Table/Floor Lamp has been created by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the brand Louis Poulsen. Part of the VL Family of lamps created by legendary Danish designer Lauritzen, the VL Studio 250 Table/Floor Lamp first appeared in the 1940s as part of a commission for Copenhagen's Radiohuset.

Updated and refined, the VL Studio 250 Table/Floor Lamp instantly stands out with a two-part spherical shade. The diffuser part of the shade has been formed from mouth-blown, opal, triple-layered glass, and casts a gentle, glare free light in all directions. This diffuser contrasts with the hemispheric base made of lacquered brushed brass or black-lacquered aluminium. The glass diffuser can be unscrewed in order to change the light source, and the design is angled to direct light effectively.

The VL Studio 250 Table/Floor Lamp has a width of 24.5cm, a height of 24.5cm and a maximum diameter of 25cm. It comes with a 250cm long white or black plastic cable, and the lamp can also be dimmed via the electronic dimmer located on the cable. It is available in brushed brass or matte black, and the light source includes E27 socket.
