The Panco High Table by Romano Marcato comes from the Italian label la palma and is a great way to add dining space or just somewhere to socialise in offices or home kitchens.

Marcato himself is one of Italy's most successful table designers. Born in 1951, he was one of the founders of the la palma brand, which seeks to make the finest designer engineering available to ordinary design fans, and this Panco High Table/Lunch Counter is a case in point. It has a deceptively simple form, with a simple rectangular shape and pure, straight lines. But the quality of the piece lies in its combination of materials. The blend of laminate, wood, and metal employed by Marcato has been skillfully processed, resulting in a stunningly pure appearance.

One of the other strengths of this piece is that it comes in two different sizes, so you can pick the perfect size for your space. The larger variety has dimensions of 240cm x 50cm x 108cm, while the smaller version measures 110cm x 110cm x 108cm. Both provide enough leg room to sit in comfort, whether you intend to eat, watch TV, use a computer or just relax.
