The Geen-A Floor Lamp has been created by Ferruccio Laviani for the brand Kartell. Italian industrial designer Laviani is known for boldly coloured, whimsical creations that offer a bridge from historical forms and the looks of the future. This is well illustrated by the Geen-A Floor Lamp.

 Made specifically for reading, this lamp generates a soft, white light that is perfectly calibrated to illuminate pages and computer screens. It has a dome-shaped shade made from polyester powder-coated steel, and this connects with a matching stem. At the top of the design, the stem passes slightly through the shade to form a cross-shaped handle for easy lifting. At the bottom of the stem, it fixes into a sturdy, column-shaped base that matches the rest of the lamp and provides the ideal anchor.

The Geen-A Floor Lamp has a height of 132cm and a diameter of 41cm, with a total weight of 12.5g. The lamp can be dimmed if desired, and features an E14 socket. Colour options include pure white, black and brick red, and all styles feature a pale shade interior, helping to cast an even light around the nearby area. Timeless and elegant, Geen-A will be well-suited to any reading lovers.
