The Componibili Smile Container was designed by Anna Castelli Ferrieri and Fabio Novembre for Kartell .

Kartell is an Italian label that combines reworks of classic designs with pieces created by exciting new talent. Its attractive and functional designs work just as well in the home as in public spaces. Anna Castelli Ferrieri was known for her innovative use of plastic while Fabio Novembre is both a designer and a photographer.

The Componibili was first designed by Ferrieri in 1968 and Novembre's Componibili Smile Container is a playful homage to it. This container with its three versions of a smiley face inspired by modern emojis puts fun into functional storage and can easily be combined with other pieces in the Componibili range. Holes that acted as handles in earlier designs are now reworked as eyes and a mouth while the colour adds a dynamic twist to the overall effect. From kitchen surfaces to children's bedrooms and from offices to bookshelves, this compact container is a valuable addition to any decor style. The ABS plastic is sustainably produced and largely recyclable. The dimensions of the Componibili Smile Container are a height of 40cm and a diameter of 32cm.
