The Battista Serving Trolley foldable was designed by Antonio Citterio for the brand Kartell.
Citterio is an Italian architect, professor of architecture and industrial designer. In 2008, he was named 'Royal Designer for Industry' by the London-based Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce.
The Battista Serving Trolley foldable is an extendable, mobile folding table. It is perfect for using to serve buffets, appetisers at the beginning of a meal and desserts at the end. It can be used both in homes and restaurants. The wheeled metallic frame that makes it mobile is chromed and has aluminium feet which make a sharp contrast with its top, which is available in a selection of colours. The two halves of the top table can be opened up fully or on only one side. The wheels are large and have rubber treads, making movement smooth and easy even when the table is laden with food or drinks. Movement is also eased thanks to the easy grip handles on the underside. The Battista Serving Trolley foldable is 100 x 69 x 54 cm when open and 20cm wide when closed, making it compact and easy to store.
