YaYaHo is the spectacular lighting system by Ingo Maurer, designed in the year of 1984. The idea for YaYaHo came to the lamp designer in the early morning on new year's day 1980 as he was on Haiti and saw light bulbs that were directly soldered to an electrical cable and illuminating the streets for the festivities. After four years of working and developing the system comprised of low-voltage halogen reflectors hung on tightly stretched cables was perfected. This system was copied often, yet all copies lack the precision and the detailed elaboration of the 276 piece lighting system. YaYaHo permits its owner to vary the height and location of every single element and match their reflections with small movable mirrors. This smart low-voltage light system is operated with a 12 Volt transformer. Available here are the basic elements: the transformer Part A and the two indispensable special cables Part B with four wall fixtures and isolated turnbuckles. The matching lamps are available at YaYaHo Elements. Our shop also offers you this system as a set, see "similar products".
