Product description

The Pao Lamp with Battery has been created by Naoto Fukasawa for the brand HAY. Japanese industrial designer Fukasawa creates elegant products that make spaces more beautiful and functional. The Pao Lamp with Battery is a great example.

The dome-shaped shade of the Pao Lamp was inspired by the shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents, giving the lamp a unique profile and feel. This moulded shade rests on a column-shaped base and both the shade and base are made from durable, injection-moulded polycarbonate that has been finished with a smooth gloss. The lamp's matte frosted polycarbonate diffuser is concealed in the shade and casts a warm, white light downwards. The lamp runs on a battery so it is easy to move around in the house, and it can even be used outdoors.

The Pao Lamp with Battery has a diameter of 23cm and a height of 23cm, with a weight of just 0.7kg. Its comes with a 100cm long USB charging cable and can be dimmed via a touch step dimmer that is integrated into the base. The lamp is available in cool grey, red, soft black or cream tones and will be function well in living rooms, patios, and on bedroom tables.
