The Chisel Lounge Chair Upholstered has been created by Andreas Bergsake for the brand HAY. It was named after the tool that would be used to chisel an item into a sculptured, precise shape. The chair's design suggests that this is the tool that was used to sculpt it into shape.

The Chisel Lounge Chair Upholstered is a Sustainable Choice product. This is because it is made of moulded and veneered plywood. The backrest is slightly reclined. It is made of 10mm moulded plywood. The seat is slightly upturned to fit in with the angled backrest. This ensures the chair provides ergonomic support. Also made of moulded plywood, it has an outer edge that is rounded just like the upper edge of the backrest. The chair's comfort is enhanced with Sense leather which is a type of aniline leather that is comfortable, strong and durable. The base is also a display of dedicated craftsmanship. The back legs are wedge-shaped while the front ones are sturdy slabs. They are attached with bevelling which adds another decorative touch.

The Chisel Lounge Chair Upholstered has a width of 63cm, a height of 66cm and a depth of 68cm. Its seat height is 39cm. It comes in neutral colours.
