The 9205 Table Lamp has been created by Paavo Tynell for the brand Gubi. Designed in the 1950s, it hasn't lost its charm over time. It is an excellent display of dedicated craftsmanship and the beauty of natural materials.
The 9205 Table Lamp has a round shade made of canvas or untreated bamboo. The fabric or bamboo slats are attached to a liner that is then fixed to a frame made of metallic wire. Fine-textured canvas or bamboo mat also goes over the top of the shade. A plate is screwed onto it to secure the shade in place. The shade is supported by a rounded, threaded brass stem that sits on a disc-shaped base. The high-precision grooving achieves the visual effect of overlapping strips. The gleam of the brass and the grooves on the stem lend the lamp a look of elegance and sophistication.
The 9205 Table Lamp has a height of 58cm and a diameter of 31cm. Its cable is made of gold-coloured fabric and has a length of 200cm. It has an inline on/off switch. It comes in natural canvas or bamboo with a brass base. It works with an E27 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately.
