The InOut 44 Side Table / Stool was designed by Paola Navone for Italian furniture manufacturer Gervasoni.

This prolific design house has a reputation for creating everyday household furniture items in a highly distinctive way. The company follows an ethos of promoting creativity, imagination and abstract thinking amongst its designers, and the result is a selection of products that often defy the principles of furniture production. Gervasoni has been creating wonders in its spiritual home of Pavia di Udine since 1888. The brand is synonymous with classic Italian flair, which is why it has an army of fans around the world.

The InOut 44 Side Table / Stool resembles a giant wine bottle cork at first glance. Look at it in detail and you might be forgiven for thinking its design is based on a mushroom or even a chess piece. Innately simple, this distinctive seat is characterised by its smooth, circular lines and its shiny coating.
