The elegant Mirror Long was designed by Studio Roso for the brand Fritz Hansen.
Fritz Hansen, also known as Republic of Fritz Hansen, is a furniture design company based in Denmark. Named after its carpenter founder, the company was launched in 1872 and today collaborates with top designers such as Studio Roso, founded in 2008 by Sophie Knielsen and Rolf Knudsen.
Studio Roso infuses architectural as well as art and design aspects into their creations, as demonstrated by their Mirror Long. This contemporary mirror is a delight simply to gaze into due to its unique colour palette derived from aquarelle graphics and reminiscent of a modern watercolour painting. The frame of this mirror is made of sturdy lacquered MDF and its reflective glass has a delightful magenta hue. As its name implies, this attractive and stylish looking glass is long enough to reflect most of the user's body, while the curved outlines at both top and bottom serve to produce a pleasingly elegant and soft outline. The Mirror Long has a height of 161cm and a width of 38cm, providing plenty of reflective area to mirror the onlooker while also serving as a wall-mounted art piece.
