Oooja Architects is an architectural studio based in the Danish city of Aarhus which regularly bridges the worlds of interior and product design. Their smaller-scale work constantly engages with tradition and heritage, finding new ways to present age-old forms, while making innovative use of natural materials.

That approach is easy to discern with the OOTW Suspension Lamp H 31cm . OOTW, what means Out of the Woods, is a collection created with the Danish brand Frandsen that blends fine wood and artistry, and this pendant lamp is a superb example. The OOTW Suspension Lamp H 31cm is one of the taller entries in the OOTW collection, measuring 31cm in height. It is centred around a cylindrical shade made from natural walnut wood or oak wood. This is stablised and crowned by a metal arch, creating a bucket-like effect. Inside the 31 x 16cm diffuser, Oooja Architects have placed a fitting E27. The lamp hangs from a 300cm cable, which can also be adjusted as required, making it as adaptable as it is visually impressive.
