The Wan wall and ceiling lamp was designed in the year 2005 by Johanna Grawunder for the Italian manufacturer Flos.
Wan is Japanese and means bowl, and bowls are the essential receptacles of life. In its endless variety of shapes and materials, with its history and mixing of cultures, the bowl probably is the must have for humanity.
In this sense, the Wan ceiling lamp / wall lamp is a light bowl, a little archeological find that combines the contradicting high tech look and highly modern lighting of the third millennium.
Wan is a wall / ceiling lamp that gives off focused light. At the same time its lamp shade protects the sides from blinding. It features a lamp body made of aluminium in available in different colours, please see the "available product types". included in the delivery scope of the wan are a green and a black ring.
The Wan ceiling / wall lamp is also available as the Flos Wan S Suspension Light, found in the "collection".
