Product description

The Lod Suspension Lamp has been created by Ferm Living for the brand Ferm Living. It is named Lod which is Danish for weight. The designers turned the concept into a beautiful lamp with unique functionality and striking visual impact.

The Lod Suspension Lamp has a dome-shaped shade made of iron finished with paint that gives it a glossy look. It faces down and a smaller similarly shaped dome faces up towards it. The two are joined by a narrow, iron rod that goes through the middle of both. The rod rises up and then drops down where it holds a round weight. The rod rises again and goes into an upward-facing, dome-shaped shade. Apart from a novel design, the ascending and descending rods along with the counterweight make it possible to adjust the height of the lamp. The lamp casts direct light downwards.

The Lod Suspension Lamp has a height of 34.5cm and a diameter of 50cm. Its fabric cable has a length of 500cm. It is not dimmable. It is available in light and dark-toned neutral colours. The lamp is compatible with a G9 socket and the bulb has to be purchased separately.
