Special Edition J83 Stool

The J83 stool was designed by Jørgen Bækmark for the FDB Møbler brand. Designed with the sole aim of creating comfortable furniture adapted to the human body, this stool builds upon a classic seating series from the mid-century era. Thanks to its simple design language, this handcrafted piece embodies the Danish design tradition.

A gentle seat contour, perfectly adapted to the sitting posture, and handcrafted details make the J83 stool a comfortable and decorative design piece. A clever paper yarn weave gives the seat a higher profile at the sides, sloping towards the center. The seat frame, constructed entirely of round logs, also promises exceptional comfort. Straight legs and cross braces made of solid beech or oak ensure stability. It is ideal for sitting on in the living room or hallway, or for putting your feet up in a cozy reading nook. The J83 stool is also perfect for a doctor's waiting area.

The J83 stool has a generous seat measuring 51.6 cm in length and 37.1 cm in depth. It is 41 cm high and weighs 4.8 kg. It is available in various color combinations. A matching bench is also available from the J83 collection.
