Yard Garden Armchair

The Yard Garden Armchair was designed by renowned German designer Stefan Diez for furniture label Emu.

A graduate of Stuttgart's Visual Arts Academy, Diez worked for Richard Sapper after completing his studies and later worked with Konstantin Krcic. He then opened his own design studio in Munich in 2003 and has since made a name for himself internationally, winning numerous design awards including the IF Gold Award and the Red Dot Best of the Best Award in 2010.

The simply stylish Yard Garden Armchair is as much a piece of artwork as it is a chair, with an eye-catching weave-patterned backrest and seat and gently sloping armrests. The chair has practical dimensions of 58 x 81 x 55 cm and seat height of 44 cm, while the curved backrest and seat provide support for your back and legs. The chair's light weight of 3.2 kg enables you to easily pick up and move your chair for al-fresco garden dining or gardening, and the chair can be stacked to keep your patio neat and tidy. Neutral and pastel-toned colour options lend the chair versatility to blend in with a wide range of both indoor and outdoor furniture and décor.
