The career of the award-winning designer
Spaniard Patricia Urquiola studied architect at the Polytechnic Institute in Madrid as well as at the Polytechnic University of Milan. She was then an assistant to Achille Castiglioni and Eugenio Bettinelli and worked at E.N.S.C.I. in Paris. After Patricia Urquiola was hired at De Padova in the office for product development, she founded her own planning office for design, architect and installation in 2001. Since then, she has worked for famous designers and renowned manufacturers.
