The elegant Grow Greenhouse was created by Caroline Wetterling for Design House Stockholm.

Founded by Anders Färdig, Design House Stockholm seeks out the very best ideas in modern Scandinavian design and chooses to bring into production only the most innovative and stylish. Caroline Wetterling's Grow Greenhouse is one such success. Suitable either for an individual small plant or the nurturing of seeds, it is formed from two pieces of clear hand-made glass. The soil and plant sit in the bottom, while the upper half forms the curving lid. A spout acts as a valve to maintain optimum temperature and moisture levels inside the dome as well as enabling the greenhouse to also function as a watering can. Caroline Wetterling takes inspiration for her designs from everyday life, hoping to encourage users of her products to look twice at seemingly commonplace items. In the Grow Greenhouse she has created a piece that combines practicality with beauty. Measuring 14cm in height and 8cm in diameter, this miniature greenhouse is perfect for even the most space-constrained homes. In larger rooms, these greenhouses can also make for an effective talking point when gathered together in small groups.
