Fields Carpet 170x240cm

The Fields Carpet 170x240cm has been created by Lena Bergström for the brand Design House Stockholm. When crafting Fields, Bergström sought to echo the appearance of landscapes from the air. Through intelligent use of woolen materials and weaving techniques, she has managed to create a rug that has a beautiful natural feel and brings a touch of rustic charm into modern interiors.

The Fields Carpet 170x240cm is a rectangular carpet measuring 240cm long by 170cm wide. The central part of the carpet consists of three colour blocks in different tones of grey, green or blue and these tones complement each other neatly. They have been hand woven from 100% wool, which has been processed to create a gorgeous mottled effect. This adds to the field-like appearance of the rug, and is joined by leather end elements to complete a stunning composition.

The Fields Carpet 170x240cm weighs just 5kg, making it easy to carry or roll up for storage. Natural oils in the wool ensure that the rug will be resilient and remain soft for long periods - adding a soft accent to almost any room of the home.
