Aria High Side Table

The Aria High Side Table has been created by Dögg Guðmundsdóttir for the brand Design House Stockholm. It is a charming combination of shapes and intricate details. The name Aria which means an elaborate, accompanied melody performed in an opera by one person is the inspiration for the combination of details that add up to a table that is timeless, elegant and versatile.

The Aria High Side Table is made of solid oak. Its round tabletop has the details of rimming around the edges and cutouts that the tops of the table fit into. The top is supported by stout, rounded legs that are tapered. Their tops go a little beyond the tabletop to fit into the cutouts which creates the illusion that it is levitating over the frame.

The Aria High Side Table has a height of 46cm and a diameter of 60cm. Lower tables with a similar design are available in the series. Buying several of varying sizes gives you the option to create a nest of tables. Alternatively, the smaller one can be pulled out to hold a decorative item like a lamp while the larger one is left bare for use as a coffee table. It is available with various finishes.
