The Le Corbusier LC2 Armchair has been created by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand for the brand Cassina.

The Le Corbusier LC2 Armchair has a deep cushion that is filled with foam and PET-based blown fibre. The foam contains eco-compatible polyols made of renewable plant-based resources while the blown fibre is sourced from 100% recycled PET. Over the inner shell and padding is the upholstery. A type of leather known as Scozia has been used for this. This is one of the most robust types of leather in terms of resistance to scratches and other types of damage. It also retains colour very well. The seat, backrest and side cushions are placed within a frame made of tubular steel. The frame is finished with brushed nickel that has a semi-opaque finish that is also eco-friendly.

The Le Corbusier LC2 Armchair comes in different sizes depending on the finishes. The armchair with a lacquered base has a height of 88cm, a width of 76cm, a depth of 70cm and a seat height of 49cm. The one with a brown lacquered or chrome base has similar dimensions except for the height which is 68cm.
