Bruno Fattorini (born 1939 in Domodossolla, Italy) substantially contributed to MDF Italia's success. He developed an innovative retail and product policy and placed great value on research. Minimalism was the main concern in the production of all MDF Italia collections. Under his name the public's interest for MDF Italia collection was awakened.

Since the year 2000 several designers create ever new and surprising MDF Italia products. Among them are Jean Marie Massaud, Bruno Fattorini, For Use, Cory Grosser, James Irvine, and Francesco Bettoni, as well as Neuland, Robin Rizzini, Soda, Massimo Mariani, Robin Rizzini, Piergiorgio Cazzaniga, and Xavier Lust.

Along the lines of “Simple is Beautiful” the MDF Italia products already won numerous awards, like the Interior Innovation Award in the year 2012.
