Design Lamps for any purpose

The company Cini & Nils was founded in 1969 by the Italian designers Mario and Franco Melocchi Bettonica. First, the design duo focused on home appliances and everyday items such as cutlery or a letter opener. By 1972 the main focus was on the artistic production of lamps. The special lights should fulfill the wishes of the owner and at the same time achieve a balance between a functional source of light and decoration. With the Cini & Nils wall lights and ceiling lights the designers have succeeded: The models provide a personal interior design style with a pleasant light. A thoughtful and intelligent design concept ensures a perfect illumination of the room. A good example is the Assolo wall light.

Care and details

The Cini & Nils ceiling lights are designed and tested to the smallest detail. Many models have been redesigned again and again. A special item is the Cuboluce bedside lamp. This is a lamp in a cubic shape, which is a unique light source. By opening and closing the lid the lamp is activated inside the box. Behind all the models there lies an individual concept, which impresses with the great care given to it.
