ML 42 Bar Stool Oiled 69cm

The ML 42 Bar Stool Oiled 69cm has been created by Mogens Lassen for the brand Audo. The Danish industrial designer Lassen designed the ML 42 stool in 1942 and drew inspiration from traditional stools used by Copenhagen's shoemakers. Today, the stool has become a collector's item for design connoisseurs.

The seat of the ML 42 Bar Stool Oiled 69cm stands out, with its series of graceful curves. Made of solid oak, the grain of the seat adds richness to the design, while it sags slightly in the middle and has a raised edge in the middle of one side. This sculpted seat rests on a three-legged frame, featuring rounded solid oak legs. The centre leg is straight while the other two have been offset at an angle, enhancing the stool's stability and durability. A metallic rod connects the two angled legs, creating a footrest which also adds a subtle aesthetic detail.
