Product description

The Tolomeo Terra Floor Lamp has been created by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for the brand Artemide. Tolomeo was created in 1986 and quickly became a go-to lamp for architects and tech workers. Now, the 1989 Compasso d'Oro winner is available in floor lamp form, providing stylish illumination for almost any room in the home.

Tolomeo is built around a series of aluminium sections that are connected via hinges and an arrangement of spring-loaded steel cables. The cantilever design of the Tolomeo Terra Floor Lamp allows it to flex to different heights, while the cup-shaped diffuser is also mounted to provide 360 degrees of rotation. The result is a lamp that can focus on armchairs, desks, TV screens, and anything else. And it can be easily adapted to different situations.

The Tolomeo Terra Floor Lamp measures 33cm long and 89cm wide when fully extended, and the height of the lamp varies from 112cm to 226cm depending on the setup. The diameter of the shade is 18cm and the lamp comes with a 200cm long cable. Colour schemes include black lacquered or anodised and polished aluminium, and a single bulb is required. The appropriate lamp with the E27 socket can be ordered under accessories.
