The Tolomeo Micro With Table Clamp has been created by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina for the brand Artemide. It gets its name Micro from the fact that it is the smallest lamp in the Tolomeo Tavolo Collection. The lamp is attached to a table or desk with a clamp that holds it securely in place. It can easily be removed and reattached to relocate the lamp.
The Tolomeo Micro With Table Clamp has a round shade made of aluminium. The back of it has a cylinder-shaped support projecting out of it. Apart from concealing wires, it supports the lamp's cantilever arms. They are made of adonised aluminium and they are attached to the clamp. Flexible joints make it possible to adjust the lamp so that it casts light exactly where it is needed. The shade can also be adjusted. The movements are made possible by a spring balance system. It allows the movement of the different parts using counterweights that hold the inflexible parts in place as the others move.
The Tolomeo Micro With Table Clamp has a width of 45cm and a height of 37cm. It comes in neutral metallic colours. It works with an E14 socket.
