Tizio Terra 50 Floor Lamp

The Tizio Terra 50 Floor Lamp was designed by Richard Sapper for the brand Artemide. Pieces produced by the designer Richard Sapper are renowned for a simplicity of design combined with technical innovation and an element of surprise. During his lifetime, Sapper was the recipient of 11 Compasso d'Oro awards. His work is well represented in art collections around the world, including the Victoria and Albert and Design Museums in London and New York's MoMA.

Produced in black aluminium, the Tizio Terra 50 Floor Lamp is a bigger version of Richard Sapper's classic 1970's table lamp. Compared to the table lamp, the Tizio Terra 50 Floor Lamp features an additional 70cm of length, making it 136cm tall and allowing it to stand on the floor supported by an 11cm base. The Tizio Terra 50 Floor lamp is highly directional and both the lamp body and the arms can be adjusted and angled to point the light to any position the user might require. The lamp design offers the user two lighting intensities, thereby allowing for additional refinement of the direct lighting level and increased user comfort.
