Product description

The Skynest Motion LED Pendant Lamp has been created by Marcel Wanders for the brand Flos. It emulates a constellation of stars in the sky when it is turned on. It is made of recycled materials which makes it an eco-friendly option.

The Skynest Motion LED Pendant Lamp has a dome-shaped shade made of thin tube-shaped recycled polyester mesh. The mesh has diamond shapes that are attached to form the dome shape. An aluminium ring at the bottom holds its shape. The lamp is powered by specially made micro-connectors at the top of the shade. They are concealed beneath two-toned mesh which adds a subtle aesthetic detail. The inside of the dome is white which optimises light emission from the LED light source. It can be dimmed via an integrated dimmer. Another feature is an integrated balancing system at the top of the dome that holds it in place. The shade is supported by a varnished steel stem. It is anchored by a cylinder-shaped base from which it rises and then bends to form an arm that supports the shade. It can be pivoted in different directions.

The Skynest Motion LED Pendant Lamp has a height of 21.3cm and a diameter of 90.4cm. Its cable is 600cm long. It comes in neutral colours.
