The Skagerak Cutting Board was designed by a member of the in-house team for Danish manufacturer Skagerak.
Skagerak is a family-owned business that was founded in 1976. It focuses on creating household items that blend style, tradition and strong element of practicality. With the goal of bringing beauty into everyday life, the company's designers draw inspiration from the Scandinavian landscape and motifs, and have a particular passion for wood. The firm has won countless accolades such as Red Dot awards in 2016.
Crafted from sturdy teak, the Skagerak Cutting Board provides a firm and hygienic surface to cut, chop, slice and dice all kinds of foodstuffs - such as breads, meats and cheeses. It features an attractive exposed grain finish with an olive glaze for protection. Based on a bucolic design inspired by the Danish countryside, it features a slew of handy features for ease and efficiency of use. These include grips on the underside, enabling the item to be firmly held, and a recess to trap food debris. Measuring 50 cm in length, 27 cm in width, and 3 cm in height, this cutting board will find a home in any kitchen whether urban or rural in decor.
