The Nymphenburg Coatrack has been created by Otto Blümel for the brand ClassiCon. Designed in 1908, its timeless style has held its own over the decades.
The Nymphenburg Coatrack stands tall and elegant with its narrow, metallic stems with upturned hooks that sit on the top like a crown. At the bottom, downfacing hooks form a base that holds the coat rack steady on the floor. It has a trio of rings at the bottom, at the top and in the middle. The lower two provide a place to slot in an umbrella. Apart from the larger hooks at the top that can hold heavier items like coats, there are also three small ones for holding smaller items like scarves and hats.
The Nymphenburg Coatrack has a height of 180cm and a diameter of 45cm. It is available with a nickel finish that has either a glossy light colour or a dark one. It will look the part in contemporary spaces as much as it did in the old-school bistros and homes it first stood in more than 100 years ago. It will also make quite an impression in an office or hotel room, creating an upmarket look.
