Schreib Desk

The Schreib Desk has been created by Dirk Frömchen for the brand Tojo. Taking its name from the German for 'write', Schreib is an elegant desk for work and recreation. Featuring a minimalist aesthetic based around white materials, it is part of Tojo' s wider collection of furnishings for bedrooms, playrooms and living rooms and fits naturally into the popular Hochstapler range.

The Schreib Desk has a simple form with a work surface and frame which provides plenty of space to slide chairs underneath. The frame of the desk measures 107cm wide, 50cm deep and has a height of 76cm and it has been made from MDF board with a beautifully pure white finish. In a trademark touch, the designer has left the ends of wooden boards exposed, creating a contrast between wood tones and the white exterior.

The Schreib Desk can be used as a separate work desk, but this is not the only way it can fit into home interiors. The top of the desk has a socket-type design which can connect with Hochstapler shelving. This allows the desk to fit seamlessly into larger bookcase designs and opens up a wide range of possibilities when crafting customised storage solutions.
