Mu Armchair

The Mu Armchair was designed by Hanyi Huang by for the German label Radius.

Founded by Michael Rösing in Hamburg, Radius now manufactures everything homeowners need for a comfortable and stylish life. Comprising two brands - Radius Design and Absolut Lighting, the firm's portfolio includes a complete line of furniture, homewares and lighting solutions distinguished by style and quality. Together with items such as tables, chairs and wardrobes, the firm also produces letterboxes, wine racks and fireplaces. It has snagged many accolades over the years, including the German Designer Club's gold medal, the Red Dot and the Design Plus Award.

With its smooth lines, curving armrests and flexible backrest, this Mu Armchair is a fine example of the firm's application of its core principles of reduction, aesthetics and functionality. The chair is made from durable polypropylene and steel, and measures 57cm in height, 60cm in depth, and features a seat height of 44cm. The chairs are stackable for ease of storage.
