The Pier System 12 Shelf with Desk has been created by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for the brand HAY. It is designed for contemporary, urban living. This lifestyle is all about travelling or moving around and making do with compact living spaces. Modular, adjustable furniture is the best option for this.

One of them is the Pier System 12 Shelf with Desk that provides working as well as storage space. It has three bars made of adonised aluminium. They have raisers at the bottom and an end cap at the top. The three bars on both ends and in the middle hold steel shelves that have a raised back edge to ensure things don't fall over. Made of punched and bent sheets of steel finished with powder coating, the shelves are attached to the bars with aluminium connectors. One of the columns on the unit has three shelves and a cabinet beneath it. The top of it serves as a work surface. It has a door that opens and closes using a magnetic closure. The second column has three shelves.

The Pier System 12 Shelf with Desk has a width of 162cm, a height of 209cm and a depth of 46cm. It comes in a selection of light or dark-toned neutral colours.
