The Juliette Marie Bench has been created by Marie Michielssen for the brand Serax. The designer's focus for her pieces is daily life. This is evident in the practicality of her pieces that always get it right in that regard while incorporating aesthetics too.

The Juliette Marie Bench is made of MDF finished with soft glossy lacquer. It has a rectangular seat and is supported by a base whose design is anything but ordinary or conventional. A slab of wood is positioned underneath the seat right in the middle to form a T-shape. Two short slabs are attached to it on either end of the bench in place of the traditional four legs in every corner. The final result of the neat joinery and crisp, uncluttered lines is a clean, sleek look that has a visual impact based on its minimalist, geometric design. The Juliette Marie Bench has a length of 130cm, a width of 33cm and a height of 45cm. Its seat height is 45cm. It is available in neutral and earth-toned colours. The bench should not be exposed to weather elements. It only needs to be wiped with a damp cloth and then a dry one to clean it. Harsh products or tools can damage it.
