Fontainebleau Outdoor Stool

The Fontainebleau Outdoor Stool has been created by José Lévy for the brand Serax. It got its name from the location of the designer's family home. He originally designed the stool for the garden there.

When the Fontainebleau Outdoor Stool was produced and debuted, it found a ready market. It is made of galvanised steel and finished with powder coating. It works to give it colour as well as keep it protected from the weather elements. It makes it resistant to UV rays, corrosion and other forms of damage like scratches, heat damage and staining. The stool has a frame made of thick, strong tubular rods. They have been shaped into legs with gliders and a short backrest that is slanted. The stool's wide, square seat has a perforated design. The openings give it an airy, breezy look that works well for the outdoors. It sits on top of a sheet of steel which ensures it provides adequate support.

The Fontainebleau Outdoor Stool has a width of 41cm, a height of 52cm and a depth of 38cm. Its seat height is 42cm. It is available in neutral and earthy colours. To keep it clean, it only needs to be wiped with a cloth dampened with plain water or water and a mild detergent or metal cleaner. Matching chairs, tables and loungers are available.
