The TSF03 Toaster 4 Slices was designed for the Smeg company.
In 1948, Vittorio Bertazzoni founded Smeg, matching post-war Italian style to high-quality, electrical technology in the production of domestic appliances. Since then, the company has grown into a worldwide phenomenon and has won many awards, including the Red Dot Design Award in 2017. In addition to bearing the company badge, its products have a recognisable hallmark. No sharp corners are in evidence; the sides of kitchen appliances are always rounded, and all controls are made to comfortably accommodate the hand.
The TSF03 Toaster 4 Slices is designed to this standard. Made of stainless steel, it measures 32 x 20 x 30 cm, with a base slightly broader than the top so that it has a comfortable, squatting profile as it rests upon kitchen counter or table top. The toaster accommodates four slices of bread at a time and has two independent control panels, which provide six browning levels. In addition, the toaster has an automatic pop-up function, automatic centring racks, two removable crumb trays and anti-slip feet. Other features include a built-in cord wrap and an electrical rating of 220-240V.
