Alessi is a company with a rich history, and their kitchenware items have been celebrated at many notable museums, such as the Museum of Modern Art New York.

The Lupita Dog Bowl comes from the respected Italian designer Miriam Mirri. Mirri studied at the Universita del Progetto in Reggio Emilia, and she lives and works in the design capital Milan. She worked as an assistant to designer Stefano Giovannoni and now designs products independently, as well as working as a professor.
