The table instantly appeals with its transparent rectangular surfaces made from clear glass. The use of clear glass is deliberate, exposing the block-shaped marble bases at either end of the table. These marble blocks are the 'minerals' referred to in the table's name, and they have a beautifully rugged, unfinished texture. The edges have been hewed with a chisel by hand, so every block of the marble will look subtly different. Moreover, because it is a natural mineral, every piece of marble will have different line and speckle patterns.
