The JJWDA Table Lamp Brass was created by Jonas Wagell for the Danish label Audo.

Audo has brought a contemporary elegance and minimalism to everyday objects since 1979 and uses, where possible, local skills from around the world. Swedish-born Jonas Wagell is well-respected in the design world, especially for his prefab concept housing. Among his many prizes is the Innovation Award.

The soft shape of the JWDA Table Lamp Brass creates a soothing effect while it is definitely striking in its material mix. Adding a metal element to glass and brass is certainly innovative. Wagell has taken inspiration from antique oil lamps for the overall shape while retaining an organic and contemporary flow. The opal glass diffuser gives a gentle light with its frosted bulb and sits in a rugged concrete base finished with a brass dimmer button. A simple twist of the button controls the intensity of light. The JWDA Table Lamp Brass measures 29cm in height and 17cm in diameter and has a useful cable length of 200cm. This stylish lamp works in any room of the home, sitting neatly on bedside tables or providing illumination for reading in living areas.
