Pappelina is a synonym for high-quality plastic carpets and outdoor rugs. Since 1999 the Swedish design house Pappelina has been weaving its wonderfully soft and yet very durable and astonishingly easy to clean plastic rugs, which are suited for several purposes: The beautifully designed Pappelina carpets look great on the balcony and terrace as well as in the kitchen or bathroom.

Since 1948 there have been Swedish woven carpets made of plastic, in 1999 Pappelina revived this tradition with modern materials, patterns, and shapes. The outdoor rugs by Pappelina are still only manufactured in Sweden and on traditional weaving looms. This way the company Pappelina secures regional employment, dependable quality controls, and short transportation routes. Additionally, Pappelina rugs are free from heavy metals and harmful plasticisers. With its decision to produce all Pappelina products in Sweden Pappelina voluntarily complies with the strict European requirements for the protection of the environment.

Outdoor rugs by Pappelina are available in various patterns. Geometric shapes, for example, can be found on the Joel plastic rug, the Vera plastic rug, and the Ella plastic rug. Slightly more playful and yet very clear are the stars on the Viggo Star rug or the stylised flowers on the Aki plastic rug. Stripes in every shape and colour sport the Molly plastic rug, the Odd plastic rug, the Lisa rug, or the Linn plastic rug by Pappelina. For those of you, who prefer plain outdoor rugs, Pappelina offers the Svea plastic rug. Pappelina carpets are also available with many other patterns and in various sizes, as a slim outdoor runner or as a wide outdoor carpet. Next to plastic carpets Pappelina's product selection also includes cushions, like the Odd cushion, the Aki cushion, or the Vera cushion. Additionally, Pappelina also produces a table lamp, the Pappelina Lamp, kitchen textiles, like the Cotton apron or the Linn tea towel, as well as many other beautiful designer living accessories for indoors and outdoors.

The Swedish design manufacturer Pappelina is known worldwide for their simple, functional design and their high quality standards. Unique is the wonderful surface structure of their outdoor carpets, which is especially soft and smooth. Pappelina carpets are easy to maintain, totally weatherproof and can be washed in the machine without a problem.
