The Welle 4 Sofa Element was created by Verner Panton for legendary design company Verpan.

Verpan was founded by Verner Panton, and takes its name from the celebrated architect. He died in 1998, but the brand has been reproducing some of his most popular designs since 2003. Born in 1926 in Denmark, Verner Panton is still known as one of the world's most influential designers, for his contribution to 20th century furniture and interior design. Some of his most popular early designs were the Topan lamp, and the Moon lamp.

The Welle 4 Sofa Element is like no other sofa, and is sure to raise a smile from everyone. Made from one, long 'wave' shaped body, it is the perfect place to relax. Specially designed to provide a comfortable space for reclining, reading, and socialising, it works best when paired with other modular sofas from the range, such as the Welle 1, 2, 3 or 5 variants. Covered with a durable material, it has a wooden frame and foam padding.
