The Siebenschläfer Double Bed 140x200cm with Headrest was designed by Christoffer Martens for the manufacturer Nils Holger Moormann.

Christoffer Martens originally worked in the graphic design sector before moving into product design. He has collaborated with a number of cutting-edge modern designers and has received a number international design awards. Moormann has also received several prestigious awards, including Red Dots, the Great Indoors Award, and MFG Award. Martens now works from his Berlin design studio.

The Siebenschläfer Double Bed 140x200cmwith Headrest has a modular appearance that goes well with any modern interior. The bed is fabricated from FU, a mix of plywood and birch and is totally metal-free. It features plug connections for simple installation in any room. The bed is available in different colours and is not supplied with a mattress. The bed has a height of 74cm, and a sinking depth of 11.5cm. A variety of accessories are available to fit the Siebenschläfer Double Bed 140x200cm with Headrest. These include Side Shelves in different colours, and rollable slatted frames. This makes it easy for any purchaser to customise the double bed to fit in with interiors of any shape.
