The Read Noon Floor Lamp was designed by El Schmid for the brand Zeitraum .

Born in Austria, El Schmid has been at the forefront of German design since the early 1980s. Working out of Munich and Seville, his studio has become famous for supplying eye-catching luminaires for fashion shows and exhibitions, but he also creates imaginative and exceptionally engineered lamps for home use - as the Read Noon Floor Lamp demonstrates.

Flexible, attractive, and highly effective, this is a superb floor lamp option for home living rooms, offering a dash of contemporary style wherever required. Standing 160cm tall and measuring 56 x 42 cm at its widest point, the lamp has been fashioned from a mix of powder-coated iron and tastefully chosen fabric. The result is a solid metal structure, coupled with a delicate shade, which hangs from the tip of the frame, casting a gentle light below. Featuring E27/105W bulbs, the Read Noon Floor Lamp is highly adjustable, thanks to an integrated dimmer. The height of the shade can also be altered as desired, allowing users to set up the lamp for bedside use or for relaxing in lounge armchairs.
