The Noon 5 Suspension Lamp was designed by El Schmid for the brand Zeitraum .

TheNoon 5 Suspension Lamp is the brainchild of the Austrian born designer El Schmid. Since the 1980s, his studio has turned out a diverse range of finely engineered lighting products, furnishing eye-catching designs for fashion shows and hotels alike. Working with Zeitraum , he created Noon as a collection of lamps featuring both textile shades and rigid iron frames - setting up a beautiful contrast with every product.

Part of the label's broader Noon collection, the contemporary Noon 5 Suspension Lamp will provide a reliable source of illumination for homes and offices alike. This luminaire is designed to be attached to ceilings and casts a soft but insistent light downwards via two 46W and three 77W halogen bulbs. The unit comprises five rounded diffusers and measures 146 x 88 x 99 cm. The frame has been created from powder coated solid iron, while the diffusers are made from soft viscose and polyamide textile, muting the force of the halogen bulbs, and creating a dynamic overall look. It is ideal for usage in rooms with ceiling heights ranging from 240 to 270cm.
