The Maggiolina 900 Chaise Longue was designed by Marco Zanuso for the brand Zanotta.
Founded by larger-than-life entrepreneur Aurelio Zanotta in 1954, the namesake brand is based in Milan. All the company's products are designed for everyday enjoyment, with innovation, form and function being at the heart of each creation. All the furniture is 100% made in Italy. Marco Zanuso was an Italian architect and designer involved in post-war Europe's modernist movement. Zanuso first designed the Maggiolina 900 Chaise Longue in 1947 for a MoMA competition for a chair that was both easy to dismantle and affordable.

The seat cushion, the back cushion and each armrest is covered in leather. The seat is positioned 40cm from the ground while the overall measurements of the lounger are 83 x 102 x 71 cm.
