The Unna Lounge Chair was designed by Monica Förster for the brand Zanat.
Zanat is a new label committed to sustainability and to keeping alive the hand-carving traditions of woodworking in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Each piece of furniture and each accessory showcases this heritage and is unique in its own way. Monica Förster adds a Scandinavian influence to the label's work. Her sense of aesthetics and form create strong pieces that fit into both domestic and public environments. For the design of her Unna range, Förster received the Interior Innovation Award.
Appealing to look at, with its gently elegant lines and slightly splayed legs, the Unna Lounge Chair is also invitingly comfortable to sit on. The heritage hand-carving techniques that enrich the border of the chair's backrest are recognised by UNESCO and give each piece an individual appearance. The chair is made entirely from solid maple or walnut in a choice of finishes and is part of a collection of wooden chairs and tables that bring a distinctive look to both traditional and contemporary settings. The dimensions of the Unna Lounge Chair are 62 x 72 x 67 cm, with a seat height of 38cm.
